Medreps know better
tips & tricks January 19th, 2010Looking for safe diet pills? Well, before asking your doctor, do some research in the internet first. Try the FDA site or medical forums that tackle weight loss just for reference. You may not know this but… doctors do not really know anything about the pills they are giving.
As this may not be entirely true, doctors really do not know anything about the medicines they are giving. They just rely on data given to them by representatives from drug manufacturers a.k.a. Medreps. When Medreps say, “hey this drug has no known sideffects” doctors just believe them. Until a patient starts complaining about it.
Of course, when doctors gain experience, they start to learn the effects of the drugs by their composition. Although this takes a lot of trials (and errors).
Anyhow, that’s just a tip from a Medrep friend of mine. Hope it helps.
