In Weight Loss, “No Pain, No Gain” Also Applies

However there are just too many temptations out there… Christmas celebration, New Year’s eve, my two sisters’ birthdays on January, my friends and officemates’ birthdays… the list goes on.
I’ve been worrying a lot about my weight lately, the bulge of my stomach in particular. My metabolism is not as fast as it used to be. It’s no longer like a lab hot plate that unceasingly burns my calories, unlike when I was still in the university. This means I have to double up in my effort of watching my calorie intake. Otherwise, I’ll end up regretting stuffing myself with all those savory, irresistible delicacies.
Oh well, no pain, no gain.
