Browsing over Wikipedia out of boredom, I was amazed to find out that, “Houston is the seat of the internationally-renowned Texas Medical Center, which contains the world’s largest concentration of research and healthcare institutions”. What’s more is that the 45 member institutions of the Texas Medical Center are all non-profit organizations.

Consequently, when I read that Russell W. H. Kridel, M.D., F.A.C.S., one of the country’s premier surgeons, is working in Houston, Texas plastic surgery, I wasn’t surprised. As the president of a prestigious academy of facial plastic surgeons in the United States, Dr. Kridel made a good choice in being in Houston. After all, where better to be in for a surgeon than in the seat of a research institution.
