Shaping Up

fitness equipment No Comments »

I noticed that since I started working in the office, I lost all kinds of exercise that I used to have in my high school years.

I’m really out of shape.

I wanted to start doing aikido or badminton again, but I just don’t have the time.

A friend of mine recommended me the kymaro body shaper. I haven’t really put much thought into it, but I’m putting it into consideration as of the moment. With a busy lifestyle like mine.. I guess a product like this would be very useful.

If you have any previous experiences on this product, even if it’s good or bad, please be a kind soul and let me know before I purchase it online. :) Thanks!

Auto insurance, home insurance, health insurance, life insurance…

We have insurance services for almost everything! But what we are all actually looking for is cheap insurance. I don’t know about you, but must of the cheap items or services that I encountered end up really bad.

It’s rare to find anything cheap and good these days. They use extenders for cheap food and cheap materials for cheap items, ending up in a reduced durability.

If you guys have any cheap insurance companies to recommend, kindly comment and do tell me about your personal experiences to help me decide!

This Heat Is Killing Me!

Lately, the heat has been killing me. Everywhere I go, and wherever I walk, the sun just hurts my skin so much.

Most of the time I just end up running towards the nearest shady area and walking slowly when I’m under it, then running to the next.

I’ve been sweating like a pig, too. And after the 2010 elections, I felt an intense headache. It was so painful that I wanted to slam my head into the wall.

My parents and siblings told me that I was just dehydrated and that I lacked sleep, and advised me to take vitamins. I followed their advice and sure enough, I felt better!

I guess parents know best. :)

Think Before You Act

What really is the best weight loss supplement? Why do I keep going on and on about them?

I’ve never really been satisfied with what the internet has to offer, and I guess that’s because as I grew up, my parents taught me how to think critically and open my eyes to what’s happening around me.

Most weight loss supplements may really do work, but have dangerous side effects that even bring you worse illnesses which would also bring problems to you financially.

Looking good isn’t a bad thing, but when you know you’re huting yourself just to do so then it’s time to think back and reflect on what you’re doing.

Still Mumbling About Pills

I heard a friend of mine mumble about lipozene. I actually found it amusing that she has time to find products like this on the internet. All I ever do here is blog and check my facebook account, sometimes look for decent artists whose CDs I could buy. I guess I live a pretty boring life! Hahahaha.

Being good is okay, but what matters to me is what’s within one’s self. I believe that if you’re a good person it’ll reflect outside, as well. :)

On a very unrelated side note: You should listen to Death Cab for Cutie! It soothes me. Such an amazing band… really. It calms me down whenever I’ve had a bad day, I hope it does the same to you.

On glowing and looking radiant from within

At the department store, browsing for my usual beauty products, I realized that I’ve been spending a load of cash just to prettify myself. The anti wrinkle cream on my hand could already pay for my dinner for one week! Then I realize that instead of spending too much money on making myself look pretty, I should be doing something from within – something that would make me glow and look radiant. I need to relax.

I have been thinking of resigning for the longest time now. But my mind has been hazy with a lot of hang ups and payables. A week off from work to think about what I really want is the best way to be able to make a clear and firm decision. I expect that with my vacation, I’ll be happy and resolved with what I want to happen with my life – then I’ll start glowing with happiness.

“Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer. Go some distance away because then the work appears smaller and more of it can be taken in at a glance and a lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen.”

On finding things when you least expect it

I’ve been planning on organizing all my accessories and other trinkets in a small drawer. However, I’m just unable to find one that fits the design of my room – until yesterday.

I cannot believe I’d find the perfect organizer for my accessories in an office warehouse! It’s a sleek mmf drawer. What’s great is that since it’s really designed to be a cash drawer, some of the slots have a lock and key – very ideal setup for my precious gems. ^_^

Now yesterday, my dear friends, is a clear example of serendipity. If it’s meant for you, you will have it – at the right time and when you’re not looking for it. 0;)

On fireflies and whales

With my nine-days vacation, I planned on using some of those days to go on a 3-day trip with my new friend Diego and his friends. Diego was the one who organized this trip which includes two nights in a Beach Resort, island hopping, two days of snorkeling, a boat ride for firefly watching, and whale interaction. ^_^

I’m pretty excited for the trip. My only problem right now is that the phone signal in that area is very low. Consequently, I might need to purchase a cell phone booster to make sure I’m able to still contact people in case of an emergency. Oh well, that’s just a minor problem which can be set aside. After all, compared to the sublime scenery and experience, worrying something like the phone signal seems pretty lame.

I can’t wait to see those fireflies and whales!

It’s my parents turn to relax

My parents have done nothing but sacrifice a lot of things for our welfare. With them now both being senior citizens, my siblings and I agreed that it’s now their turn to have fun, live life, and enjoy.

So, as a thank you present for all the love and care they have given us, we decided to buy them tickets for a month-long cruise! The cruise ship we got them in is one of the best there is – I can just imagine them dancing under those glorious chandeliers then having cocktails at the sleek deck while watching dolphins jump gleefully beside the ship.

I’m pretty envious actually. Being on a Cruise has been on my dream list for the longest time now. Then again, I still have plenty of time to make that come true. For now, it’s my parents’ turn. I can’t wait to see their reaction when we present them the tickets during our customary family dinner this weekend! ^_^

Appetite Supressant

As I was sitting in Starbucks waiting for my brother to buy our drinks before we watched Iron Man 2, I saw a family of obese people. I tried hard not to stare but I guess I couldn’t help it, I’m relieved they didn’t notice me stare, though.

I’ve recently discovered a drug called phentermine that helps obese people supress their appetite. I would have referred it to them at that instant, but I didn’t want to be rude. If I was in their position I’d try anything possible to help me lose weight.

I guess I didn’t think for a split second there.
